UCB has a portfolio of products supporting the treatment of patients with epilepsy, going back to 1999. UCB asked us to re-energize its peer-to-peer (P2P) programming to help bring value to healthcare providers (HCPs).
Challenge
Across the industry, HCP attendance at speaker events is at a historic low (~40%). UCB challenged us to create interesting P2P content and support HCP recruitment at programs, as well as to create a speaker training experience that would help put patients back at the center of the P2P story.
Insight
Speakers are often not aware of the audience mix before the program and seek the ability to easily customize content in real time based on audience insights to ensure receptivity.
Creative
We created a modular presentation built through the lens of real patient cases, as well as rep materials to help inform speakers of the audience mix and support recruitment. We trained speakers live by creating experiential rooms that represented a real patient being treated with a UCB therapy, highlighting milestones for patients with epilepsy, such as getting a driver’s license.
