Challenge
Hunter syndrome is an extremely rare genetic disorder that affects 1 in 160,000 boys. It’s difficult to diagnose and certain regions of the country seemed to be missing patients.
Insight
Language barriers, lifestyle, rates of health insurance, and residency status must be affecting rates of diagnosis.
Creative
We appealed to moms, encouraging them to take a closer look at their sons and ask this simple question: “Is he falling behind?”
